Providing Personalized Counsel for a Positive Future
Today is election day and, of course, most of the focus is on the presidential election, but its important to remember that there are many judicial offices up for election in Collin County.
The 199th, 380th, 401st, 416th, 469th, and 470th judicial district courts are all up for election. Judge Angela Tucker, Judge Ben Smith, and Judge Mark Rusch are unopposed and up for reelection as they are the judges for the 199th, 380th, and 401st judicial district courts. Republican Andrea Thompson is running for election against Independent Daniel Correa for the 416th judicial district. Judge Piper McCraw and Judge Emily Miskel are running unopposed for the 469th and 470th district courts to which they have already been appointed to.
In Collin County Court at Law #7, Judge David Waddill is running unopposed to the position and has already been appointed to the court.
Although many of these races are uncontested it is still important to get out and vote for the other closely contested races.
